It is with pleasure that I introduce the first issue of the ADF Gift Planning e-Newsletter. It is designed to provide you with timely information about financial, estate, and gift planning – information that may help you utilize your resources to make a lasting difference while also benefitting the Alliance Defense Fund. Each e-Newsletter will feature a personal gift-planning story from an ADF Ministry Friend.
Today, more people are coordinating their financial, estate and gift planning, with good reason. Thoughtful planning creates opportunities to better provide for outstanding charities while providing you, the donor and taxpayer, with greater financial and tax advantages.
This issue focuses on effective will planning. It highlights the basic steps of planning a will – whether you are drafting it for the first time or reviewing a will you signed years ago. The current environment regarding federal estate tax laws makes this a timely and important issue to consider.
