Keeping the door open for the spread of the Gospel – that was the dream of the ADF Founders over 15 years ago. In 2009, ADF has made significant strides to defend religious freedom and, by the grace of God, we remain victorious in more than three out of every four cases litigated to conclusion.

- Christian students in Tennessee - who were once censored - are now free to use the words "God" and "pray" in advertisements for See You at the Pole and National Day of Prayer events.
- Virginia's law banning partial-birth abortion was upheld - protecting full-term babies from horrific deaths.
- A pastor in California is once again free to hold home Bible study meetings without persecution.
Our opponents are determined to secularize America and slam the door to religious freedom shut. In fact, our nation's leading religious censor - the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) - is applying a recent $10 million donation in an attempt to defeat freedom in specific regions where ADF has been successful in protecting freedom. Therefore, now more than ever, we must stand together to reclaim religious freedom and fulfill the dream of our ADF Founders.
